I visited A1 Live Scan & Notary Services for fingerprinting, and overall, it was a positive experience. The location is on the second floor to the right, making it easy to find. The office itself was clean and well-organized, which added to the overall professionalism of the service.
The process for getting my fingerprints done was straightforward and efficient. While the staff member who assisted me was knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing, he was a bit less friendly than I had hoped. Despite that, his expertise made the experience smooth and quick.
I appreciated the fast service, which made the whole visit hassle-free. If you're in need of live scan services, I’d definitely recommend A1 Live Scan & Notary Services for their cleanliness and efficiency!

Only rating it one star because the guy who has glasses and a bald head is not polite at all (I didn’t get his name). Dude has a condescending attitude and loses his temper easily after simple questions or clarifications. Other than that, the process was simple. Thanks.

First, I did have an appointment with your business. My name is not complete in this google account. So I’m not sure how you guys came into the conclusion of me not having an appointment if you guys tried to search me up into your login list through this google name.
Second, the problem was not related to
me arriving late nor nothing related to my appointment.
Third, the guy had this superior, condescending attitude thinking I should’ve known how a live scan works but it was my first time doing so. He was really impatient and rude about it as well when I was asking for clarifications and simple questions.
From the team’s response, I will for sure not come back to this business and will tell my lawyer who referred to me to this business about my experience from this business so that she can know and possibly stop referring to her future clients to this place. Bye.

I went to A1 Live Scan yesterday for fingerprint cards, and the experience was awful. Upon arrival, there was no one to assist me for 12-15 minutes despite me calling out for help. Eventually, I overheard someone talking in a back office, so I knocked. A man—apparently the owner—came out, visibly annoyed while still on the phone. After he hung up, he rudely asked, 'What do you need?' When I asked if they did FBI fingerprint cards, he grumbled about the $35 charge per card. His attitude was off-putting, but I still wanted to get it done. Then, when I went to pay by card, he said there would be an extra charge for using credit. I decided to call the local police station to see if they could do it for cheaper, and when I couldn't reach them, I said, 'Nevermind, let's proceed.' That’s when things took a turn for the worse. He became furious, berated me for wasting his time, and his rudeness escalated. Shockingly, he even made a sexist remark about women on my way out, gesturing as if he was going to hit me!
This kind of unprofessional and aggressive behavior is unacceptable, especially from the owner. I ended up going to DM’s Live Scan on Wilshire Blvd, where they were busy but polite, and I paid *half* of what A1 charges, they charged me $60 vs $110. I think A1 should close their business as they are not a safe place TBH, or the owner should just allow his employee be there all the time and never go in to interact with people.

I've done Livescans multiple times because of my job and this place was the best experience I've had so far. Best if you come prepared with your documents completed with the correct information. There were a few others waiting as well, but I was able to get my fingerprints done quickly because I had my papers ready. Fingerprinting scan was super fast, the guy knew how to do it efficiently, he checked to make sure my papers had the valid information and that my personal info matched my documents (which I appreciated because I once had a typo when I'd done Livescan years ago and the worker didn't compare my info, so I had to pay twice since the submission rejected my fingerprints). Plus, I got 2 copies of my completed forms, one for personal keep and the other to submit for work. I was in and out within 20-30 minutes. Worker definitely knew what he was doing, funny, bilingual w/ Spanish, and friendly. Will definitely come back when I have to get another Livescan!
