To add to the frustration, my wife received a call from a staff member who initially acknowledged that the damage wasn’t visible in their photos but later denied having the conversation.
Their customer service is severely lacking. The dress was dropped off on 6/26/24, and as of today, 7/9/24, we still do not have the dress back or a claim form. We spoke to the staff member there twice in person and they refused to let us speak to a manager over the phone, telling us the manager would say the same thing and advising us to send an email instead. We are considering further action against this company. This shop is a front for some other place that actually does the dry cleaning in downtown LA. Do not trust them with anything of value.
I paid $5 per shirt to be ironed and pressed so there are no wrinkles but half of them had the wrinkles…

After they said they were finished cleaning, I went through the house. Everything was covered in dust and cobwebs. They didn’t clean out the medicine cabinet, as pictured. Even after asking them to re-clean parts of the floor they missed, they didn’t.
I’ve attached a picture of a moist paper towel that I used to wipe the floor after the cleaners left. It’s so filthy and disgusting that I want to throw up! They didn’t even bother to wipe off the top of the fridge. What I keep noticing as the days progress are more and more problems with the service I hired this company to accomplish.
I would neither recommend nor would I use Mya again. Waste of time and money. Upon complaint, they offered a tiny fraction of my money back! I will now dispute the charge with credit card company because these women must have been doing any else but cleaning! I would never use nor recommend this company… EVER!
Update… after reaching out again to show more pictures of the poor condition my house was left in, I was offered a full refund and what I believe was a heartfelt apology. While the cleaning was sub-par, the customer service was not!

UPDATE: Zach, the owner, very nicely called me after seeing my review online. He said all the right things: it was their problem with miscommunication between the scheduler and the cleaner; he could offer me money back on this cleaning; he could give me a discount on a future cleaning; that he wanted to make it right. Unfortunately, I think it is just not a good match between me and this service. I don’t want the same type of cleaning every time. I want to be able to give them a list of priorities and have them be prepared to do what I need. I need a cleaner who is not caught between the rules of his company and the needs I have. I initially gave Marching Maids 1 star. Because he called to make it right I upped it to 2 stars. But I did have to clean after they left, so that’s the best I could do. 🙁
My cleaning crew was prompt, friendly, communicating with me about what I wanted and anything I didn’t want. They did a good job at making my kitchen and bathrooms shine! When I walked through with them at the end, they quickly and professionally redid or gave attention to any areas I felt were not satisfactory. I really appreciated that.
