Flores Artscape helped us do a total front yard transformation. We LOVE our new garden–an artscape that makes us feel proud of the front of our home. We are not only extremely happy with the final outcome, but we also appreciated the process this company used to get us there. Our project was somewhat complex, involving transforming our front yard, which started as mostly dead grass and no stairs (see before pic), to what you see in the photos–including installation of a new staircase and flagstone path up the hill, installation of several colors of gravel winding through the garden, installation of a low flagstone wall to retain the gravel along the sidewalk, and installation of many plants. We appreciated that before we entered a contract or paid any deposit, as part of their bid, Flores Artscape produced a visual concept design for us based on what we had shared about our vision. We also appreciated that Flores Artscape was happy to integrate some existing brickwork and retaining walls into the design, and to coordinate with our sprinkler company to integrate the installation of drip irrigation into the project schedule. What we most appreciated was the company’s consistent focus on ensuring customer satisfaction, down to small details; they always addressed our design concerns, requests, and punch lists, including addressing a few broken plants discovered after final payment. Of final note, our project coordinator, Nancy, was always very responsive to our texts and went the extra mile to source types of flagstone and plants that we really wanted but that the company hadn’t used before. We highly recommend Flores Artscape and hope to use them again to transform our backyard one day!

Although the turf that Olivier had recommended to us was in great physical condition, it really needed a good cleaning, including the edges ands borders. Also our neighbors shrubs and trees were constantly dropping seeds and debris along our fence line.
The crew came and cleaned, refreshed and sanitized the whole yard. The edges are beautiful. It honestly looks like it was just installed.

The Rainforest LA crew helped us to transform our backyard a few weeks ago. They added hedging with drip irrigation all around our yard, dug up a lot of concrete and ripped out our builder-grade synthetic grass to replace with nice plush synthetic grass, and built a fence and two raised beds for fruits and vegetables. This was all done in less than a week. Yosi and his team were super responsive, professional, and never pushy. We’ve had a lot of construction projects of various sizes with a lot of different contractors and handymen, and this was easily the smoothest project I’ve ever had to deal with. Highly recommended!

Yosef from RainForest LA came over in January to give me an estimate on redoing my front yard. They were the 3rd landscape contractor to come and give me an estimate. I had a sketch of what I wanted to do and they were the only contractor I contacted that could do it all. They removed the grass, old plants, old brick walkway on the side of the driveway, part of the driveway and old irrigation system. They installed artificial grass, new plants, new curved walkway, new driveway (partial) and new drip irrigation system. I am extremely happy with the way it came out and they did it all in a little over one week.

Really happy with Artscape’s work transforming our front and backyard and parkway. I spoke to three contractors for consultations and quotes, and Ben and Oscar stood well above the rest. Oscar and his crew installing were very knowledgeable, did an incredible amount of work in 3 days, and were very respectful of the site and left it spotless. During the entire process I felt that I was listened to. When I wasn’t sure how to implement what I wanted, Ben was very good at turning my priorities into smart design choices. I was always given options and suggestions throughout the design and I never felt lost or without control.
Once we settled on a design, the work was done efficiently and professionally. I expected about three weeks of work, as quoted by other contractors, when it turned out to be one week total.
I had close to 2,700 sq ft of garden, so great care was taken to keep costs low without sacrificing quality. The end result is amazing and a beautiful testament to Ben’s design & implementation.

We are so amazed with Greengrounds – fantastic work and amazing customer service. The owner of the company Cirilo is such a genuinely nice and caring guy. He is a total perfectionist with an artistic eye and cares about doing things the right way. That being said, he is totally open to ideas and doesn’t have too big of an ego to admit when something could be better and he fixes it! What more could you ask for? We have an old 1927 Spanish home and have done many renovations thru the years and a lot of them were stressful and frustrating but these guys were kind, hard working, good communicators and knocked the work out. They helped address our drainage concerns, installed lighting & irrigation, choose plants and of course the gorgeous hardscape. Our job was stalled for 3 weeks when the company shut down in the peak of the pandemic but if it wasn’t for that I think it would have finished on time and it was just another sign that they care about their team. Having this beautiful outdoor space to gather with friends outdoors during the pandemic helped us keep our sanity and has honestly changed our lives – we have lived here for 20years and we hardly ever spent time in our own yard and now we are out there all the time and have a place where we are proud to invite people over.
