Horrible. I called to schedule an appointment and spoke with a women taking the reservation. She told me they charge a service fee for them to come out. A new product under warranty? Really? I asked to speak to a manager and she said they would call me. I am still waiting for the call. Should have seen this coming. Had an appointment scheduled for today plus I received a confirmation text saying Oscar would be at my home in 45 min. The guy never showed up. We ordered the cover and they installed the cover thru our pool contractor and the job wasn’t completed at the time of install. I called to schedule them to come out to complete the missing items and they want to charge me $200 for a service call. My cover I was installed about 3 months ago and they want to charge a service call fee even though it is under warranty? The worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. Attaching photos of the text message and the email asking me to review their performance. They jumped the gun on this one.

BEWARE OF PRICE GOUGING AND CHEATING by PoolSafe !! This company’s technician came to my house last week to fix the retraction of my pool cover. They were not the original installers. When I made the appointment, I was told that it would be $299.00 to “hold the appointment and for the technician to come out.”. I asked on the phone “So the $299.00 is to fix the issue?” and the company person said “No, that is so the technician comes out and diagnose the issue. If there are additional charges, he will let you know”. Poolsafe then asked for my cc information, which I gave her. The next day, their technician came to my house. He said the ropes for the retractable pool cover to work – one was broken – he showed that to me. He also said there was debris in the cover box, and said he would clean that debris and the debric on the tracks. He would replace both the ropes. I said “What is the price?” He said “between $400 – $600”. I asked him for a specific price, and he said “$500”. So I said “That’s $299 plus $500?” And he said “Yes”. So I said, “Ok, go ahead.” He began his work, and when he was finished, he showed me that the pool cover worked. Then he left. The next day, I got a call from my CC company to verify a CHARGE OF $1679.33!! I WAS SHOCKED!! I called PoolSafe and told them what the technician had said. The first customer service rep BEGAN YELLING AT ME! I was pretty calm, but I was telling her again and again the problem. I hung up and called again – got a more reasonable person. She said she would look into it, and I said I need to speak with the supervisor. That person wasn’t available. Since then, I’ve gotten a call / email from POOLSAFE every day asking giving me all SORTS OF EXCUSES for why the cost was MORE THAN DOUBLE of what they quoted me. Their EXCUSE IS “OUR TECHNICIANS do not know prices”. So why then did your technician tell me a price instead of having the POOLSAFE office call me first BEFORE THE JOB BEGAN? POOLSAFE’S REPLY when I asked this? “You should have called our office first” OH, SO BLAME THE CUSTOMER for you not training your techicians and cheating me? I said “if your technician is standing there in your POOLSAFE uniform, and giving me a quote for the job, why would I need to call your office? He represents you!”. So now, I’ve been offered 20% discount and asked to pay over $1300.00 . Ain’t happening. I’m filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. So watch out! I WILL update if POOLSAFE can ADMIT THEIR ERROR AND fix this. POOLSAFE – Train your technician to give a correct quote or call your customers before the job begins – DON’T TRY TO CHEAT afterwards. The technician also left with giving me ANY PAPERWORK. I was inside my house – I don’t even know when he left by the side gate. BE CAREFUL DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. DON’T TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. GET ALL QUOTES IN WRITING.

Their crew, including Joseph and Darrell, always do a thorough job in identifying my repair needs and charge reasonably for their work. Update: Joseph did an impressive job rectifying an issue with my Polaris cleaner. Darrell visited during the spring season to mend a leak and service our heater. He successfully located the leak and got the heater back up and running while explaining why the heater might not have much longevity remaining. Consequently, I received a fantastic quote from Joseph, and we’re looking forward to having them install a new one shortly. This company has been my go-to for pool-related services for over a decade. I highly recommend Olympic Pool & Spa Supplies. I have been their customer for over 5 years and they have never failed to respond quickly and professionally to any issue that has come up with my spa. Their fist job was to bring an old inoperable system back to life and they have maintained it ever since. OP&SS’s prices are always fair, and extra work that is not needed is never suggested. It’s always a pleasure to call Tai, because I know he will come out address any problem quickly professionally.

The service is a total crap shoot ! One month they are attentive and the next you have to beg them to add chemicals to the pool and actually sweep it (we installed an automatic pool sweeper and they quite often do not empty that out). I’ve been home when they didn’t know I was there and they spend about 5 minutes without even checking the chemicals in the pool. They have automatically billed us for chlorine tablets when there is a bucket of them sitting by the pool equipment. Any request usually takes more than one call to accomplish. Good Luck if you choose this place !

I built my pool in 2006 & installed a new pool cover. When it was time to clean the cover, clean the trap, check the pulleys, pool cover installer recommended I call DALLIN LARGE, the owner of COVER CARE. He sent two young guys out and they not only cleaned, washed, scrubbed, conditioned my cover, they also lubricated the 2 tracks, spotlessly cleaned the trap, checked the tension for a smooth, noiseless pool cover retraction, and checked the motor and water drainage pipe from the trap out to the street. These guys R truly professionals. They showed up on time, got right to work, spent anywhere between 1&1/2-2 hours on my 36′ x 12′ pool cover. I would highly recommend Dallin & Cover Care to anyone who has an electric pool cover & who uses their pool a lot during the year.

So happy I called Cover Care. My pool cover was out of warranty, so the original installer referred me to Cover Care. I am extremely happy with their service. They explained what work needed to be done immediately and what work was recommended but not urgent. I checked with our pool man, and he confirmed that the price quoted was very reasonable. A few weeks after the work was completed, I realized that the magnet for the fountain had gotten messed up. Cover Care very courteously and promptly sent someone to fix the problem and everything is working great now. You really have to appreciate a company that does good work for a good price and is very responsive with their follow up care. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend him. I want to start by saying that Sergio was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable at first. I was having an emergency and as I requested a quote Yelp must have shared the request and he was the first to reply (I thought he was a different company with 7 positive reviews). He came right away and fixed the problem within a couple of days. Then he kept asking me to write him a good review, which I didn’t have a chance to do until now. I prepaid him $125 for pool maintenance for the month of May then he disappeared. He only came once during the month (after I reminded him) and haven’t communicated with me since. I texted requesting my money back. I hope he is honest and will return it.

I had a problem where my spa was tripping the breaker. I kid you not, for five weeks I had four different people look at it, including a general contractor, electrician, of course my pool guy, which I replaced and had another pool guy weigh in. No one could figure it out. Finally I found Pool Joe, he came out and figured out what was wrong immediately. Fixed it and was in and out in a half hour, reasonable price. Unlike so many other workers, Joe cleaned up after he was done, and to top it off made sure I locked the gate behind him. After five weeks of everyone else being stumped, I finally got my spa back. He followed up a week later by phone to be sure it was still working. Sounds like some reviews were by people who may have experienced his service at a bad time, maybe he got too busy or had family issues, you never know. But this guy knows his stuff and is super professional. Highly recommend.

Please do not use the service. I don’t think it really exist. I called sergio back several times before he even answered the phone. I told him that my hot tub still had some dirt at the bottom. His reply was is it still a heating, and working I said yes but it’s dirty. The nerves to get smart. He said that he was gonna call me and also get back with me by Saturday. He did want me to be satisfied. I’m upset with myself For not reviewing the reviews first. He even tried to change me extra for filling the hot tub with my own water. Don’t use this service.
