I recently needed to find a painter for a top client’s office suite in Los Angeles, but being from San Diego, I was unsure about finding someone reliable and trustworthy. It was also important to stay within budget.

Alan and his crew, have come through in a pinch for me for a second time, and hit a grand-slam home run, once again. The first time I worked with All Los Angeles Painting, we had an issue with a “mystery crack” in a wall that needed repair, requiring the repainting of the wall. At that time, we also asked Alan to paint our primary bedroom, closet, and some other areas that needed attention. His attention to detail, level of care and follow-through, and the outstanding quality of the work make him “my painter,” or “my guy” when I need any painting done. It’s just that good of a company.
Most recently, I called on Alan to tackle a large job in a townhouse we were about to list for sale. He made the time for us, brought his best ideas and approach, and had us taken care in a speedy and organized manner. The crew is outstanding in their level of care and preparedness, as well as the prep they put into the area to be painted, and the other areas where they may be working or passing through – it’s all done exactly the way you want it. They leave no mess, they respect the space, and they turn in a top-notch end result. We have no doubt that the quality of the painting and wall work/patching done by All Los Angeles Painting was what put our listing on top because of how great the place looked in our photos, resulting in a closing price over ask. According to our real estate broker, many people who toured the home said it “looked new,” which, before Alan and his crew got there, it definitely did not.
Bottom line is you can trust Alan is going to do great work, and that his crew are talented, friendly, and respectful of the space around them. They move quick, they know how to do the job right, and they do it right. That’s why I’ll use All Los Angeles Painting on my next, and every project. The peace of mind I have (and enjoyment!) working with Alan and Company is the reason.

Our landlord gave us a small amount before move-in to paint over the dark brown walls in the dining/living room areas. I was in a bind trying to find a certified paint company to fit within our small budget and quick turnaround time. I found All Los Angeles Paint Company on Yelp and read the great reviews. I called Alan on a Monday with a brief description of the project and he was willing to work with my small budget and time constraints. He gave me a quote for labor and materials and coordinated everything by phone/text throughout the week. I gave him the paint color we wanted and he placed the order. Because he knew I was working with a small budget, he was able to use resources from a previous job to bring costs down for the ceiling paint and help us get the results we wanted. By that Sunday morning, Alan and his team of 4 painters, led by Raymundo, were in the house getting the job done. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they were also able to paint over the dark blue bedroom walls and ceiling at no additional cost, all by 4:30 PM! I am very grateful that Alan and Raymundo took the time and care to ensure we were happy and pleased with the end product. We are now ready to move in and make the house a home. The sink was shiny! Even though it was really hot, he was very thorough and made sure to get every small space. Nick completely took our house down to the studs. We decided not to do a room addition or any expansion to the home because it was already large enough. By opening up some walls and removing some structural walls we were able to open up the floor plan where there would be a great layout on the first and second floor. By taking down the walls on the first floor we were able to incorporate a great room and we were able to encompass a kitchen, dining and living room area all in one. This gave us the room to even add a media room downstairs. On the second floor we were able to redesign it in a way where we now have four bedrooms with their own bathrooms. And on the other side of the staircase we were able to add on a new master suite with double sink vanity jacuzzi tub and a standalone shower. And the backyard we took everything down to dirt and started from scratch. Even our deck and pergola were demod and hauled away and we started from scratch. It was time because the house had not been touched in so many years. It was literally falling apart. Nick preferred us to a designer who was able to help put things in perspective for us and give us the right design choices to move forward. This helped us tremendously because we don’t have any designing experience. We are happy with the entire process.

I want to thank Nick and his team for the great renovation they did to my house. It was a smooth development with them and I’m so glad we went with Advanced! We met with a handful of contractors after getting our plans done. The quotes we got were quite different, Nick’s estimate was just over the middle of the estimates we received but we decided to go with him because unlike some contractors, he personally runs the entire project, and had extensive experience with building homes and the style we wanted and was very detailed. What we wanted was very specific, we spent a lot of time and money on our design getting it just right and needed a contractor who could execute and bring it into reality. He explained everything to us and was very transparent through the process. There were a few changes during the build but he guided us through, came with several options and helped us make the decision and respected our time frame. Nick and his team worked with our designer to make sure every wood panel, color and texture was exactly what we wanted. His staff even helped us source some of the finish materials – just because they really love what they do! Nick and his workers made sure every little detail was perfect before the final walk though. We wanted him to take care of everything, and he did, but we still knew what was going on, who was working on what, and when each portion would be completed. I appreciate their work and would highly recommend considering them if you are building a new home or remodeling. It was a great experience overall and I can’t wait for the new projects I have with nick and his team.

The people Nick has on his team do really nice work. There was an issue with our faucets being back ordered for months, but Nick was able to pull some strings and somehow get that cut down to just a little over a week’s delay with the manufacturer. In the end, got exactly what was envisioned, very happy! My opinion, BEST general contractor in the Los Angeles SFV area! They were kind enough to take professional photos for us once completed….Friends & family all comment about how beautiful it all is now that its furnished. SO pleased….

I felt so confident in them every step of the way, I had no further questions than what they already walked me through. The blower on our Trane heater was running but hot air was not coming out. I called three companies in Brody was the first one to respond. David and Christian came to the house, fixed the problem fast. They provided a full inspection, changed some filters, and I stalled a brand new Nest thermostat. They trained me on how to use it.

The other day, turning on my heater for the first time this winter, I became aware of the “botched up” installation job performed by another company several years ago. A company, by the way, that no longer exists and apparently went out of business shortly after my “installation”.
I knew now to call a well-established and respected company for help …no more cheaper “short cuts”.
Brody Penney was the obvious and only choice. “Lou” responded immediately, setting up an assessment appointment in less than a week. The appointment was confirmed and a helpful ‘reminder’ sent. The wonderful technician, Renee, called to say he was arriving and was exactly on time!!
He patiently listened to me explain the unfortunate history of my currently malfunctioning zonal heating system and a non-existent A/C system. His thorough examination of my systems led him to ask for a second opinion from his Supervisor, Ashton, (who showed up within minutes) before giving me a final assessment of the work that would be needed.
Ashton, so knowledgeably & professionally,
spent the next couple of hours examining every detail of my system(s), finally explaining every detail to me so that I could make an informed decision as to what work should be done. On this basis I was happy to agree to the suggested work, signing an Agreement & scheduling the job in a few weeks at my convenience. Ashton even gave me his card with his personal number to call if I had any further questions.
In summary, I could not have had a better experience than with these two professionals who showed such patience, thoroughness and expertise. I look forward to their continuing care of my new systems in the years ahead.

We had problems with our 30 year old heater/AC unit and called Brody Pennell to come and check it out. They dispatched Juan Molina who came on time (which I greatly appreciated). He was very thorough in his assessment. He took several pictures of different parts of the units, shared them with me and explained carefully each of them. Upon deciding it to replace it, Juan called Christian Corwin, who came within 1/2 an hour. He explained the different options, answered all questions we had. We decided quickly on a date.
In summary they were both very efficient, listened to our concerns and explained the issues and how to solve them. I would recommend them.

Kevin was super professional and friendly and he was very thorough in his examination and cleaning of our heating and A/C systems. We signed up on our first visit 6 months ago for the yearly maintenance plan and, after this excellent check-up, we’re so glad we did. They called us to let us know it was time for a visit so we didn’t have to keep track, and we were able to schedule a visit very quickly and easily. It is well worth the expense to have someone oversee this most important part of your home maintenance and the technician couldn’t have been any better.

I had three different AC repair companies come to my house. All of them just charged me a visit fee went downstairs to my furnace and said the unit should be working but after those three times it never worked. Finally I reached out to JW Hearinf repairs and was connected with Marco. From the beginning of the process, Marco was an amazing technician. Respectful, communicative, and doing his best to fix our unit. After coming the first time for a free diagnosis, Marco told us that our furnace blower was broken and showed us pictures and videos of the problem, as well as explaining other potential issues that may may develop in the future but were not necessary for immediate repair. After explaining everything, we decided on a plans and he communicated the price and estimate very clearly. We scheduled a repair appointment for after the delivery of the needed parts. A week and a half later, Marco came back and fixed our blower and now everything is working perfectly. If anyone needs a good honest repair technician I recommend Marco from JW.

The 40-year-old heating system at my mother-in-law’s house failed a week before Thanksgiving. We had used JW 5 years ago for our house and they did an amazing job. They were our first call for our current issue. Roberto, our service technician, came out and was kind, professional, courteous, and gave us outstanding service. He couldn’t solve the problem with the unit on the initial visit and went over and above to find replacement parts and devise a solution- including rearranging his schedule so that he could attend to our needs as soon as possible. Ultimately, the old unit could not be repaired and I spoke with Eric to explore other options.

Recently I had a plumbing safety inspection done. Kevin came to check things out. My water lines were in good shape. He then proceeded to inspect my gas lines under the house. He found leaks in some of the lines. Kevin showed me videos of a test he performed, which showed the gas escaping. He was patient and very professional as he explained everything he had done and exactly what he found. The visuals he presented helped see exactly what he was talking about.
He proceeded to talk to his supervisor, and it was decided to turn off my gas for the night. I appreciated Kevin’s concern for my safety.
First thing the next morning Kevin, his supervisor and the manager all showed up. They conducted one more test that confirmed the leaks, showed me those results, and gave me options. These options were explained fully to me. They gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions too, making sure I understood exactly what each option entailed. I didn’t want to mess around where gas was concerned, so I chose to replace and redo the entire gas lines.
Kevin continued to be a most caring person, and saw the entire project through, start to finish. He explained the inspection procedure to me, and even cleared his schedule to be here when the city came to do their inspection.
I was extremely happy with this experience. Kevin went above and beyond, which I appreciated immensely. He was professional, as well as caring, courteous and respectful.
